February Fun Day #18 - Paper Airplane Day

The Six Finalists

For weeks the students at Lott Mennonite School have been researching how to make the best possible paper airplane.  The preliminaries were held, and six students advanced to the finals.  They consisted of five gentlemen and one lady; three from the elementary room and three from our upper-grades room.

Although I was impressed with their creativity and physics research, I was not impressed with this paper airplane.  This is what NOT to do with your English paper . . . . :-(

And the winner is . . . the one girl!  From the elementary room!  Yay!!!!!  Her paper airplane flight measured right at about 51 feet.  Go girls!
