Okay, the title is a bit dramatic, but I am a history teacher as well, and we were in the middle of studying the Indian Removal Act, and it was just on my mind . . . .
So, I had the 7th graders do the "Outline your foot and decorate it" assignment in their journals for creative art journaling day. The 7th graders have a very different style than the 8th graders. Two of them drew foot wounds.
