Marching to the Beat of a Different Fire Alarm

Today was our first day of pre-tour rehearsal.  We had a good day of intense practice.   In the picture above we were working on our rhythm and walking in tempo to "Alleluia, Incantation".  It is hard to walk in tempo with your husband playing with your ear and "steering" your shoulders, but I did.

The only other eventful occurrence was when the fire alarm went off for several minutes during lunch.  We just tolerated it at first, but when it continued we began to sing thirds and fifths, making a chord out of it.  After it finally stopped, we determined that the fire alarm pitch was an "E" natural.   (Geeky, I know.)  The fire alarms are supposed to be fixed by around 10:00 in the morning.  We may have an interesting first recording session for the Hymns of the Church, Volume II if they are not.
