I had never tried this one in a basement classroom with only one window before, but it worked. We turned off all the electric lights for the day and used only candles. Scented candles. Lots of them. So, not only did our room have a lovely ambiance, it also smelled, well, . . . kinda strong and flowery. We also roasted marshmallows, although I think next year we will try the smaller ones; they might roast faster.
