3-D History Projects and a Hobo Post Thingy

Usually, the students do their three-dimensional history projects on the same topic as they've chosen for their English research papers.  This student wanted to research depression-era hobo markings which the hobos would leave on curbs or fenceposts of a house to let other hobos know what to expect from the people who lived there.  She included ten blocks which could be inserted into the post and included the explanation of the sign on the back of the blocks.  Very clever!
Please email me at little flock7 at gmail.com if you would like a list and pictures of over 100 interesting history project or research paper ideas.

This really happened when a huge tank of molasses burst open and flooded part of Boston, Massachusetts in 1919.

More projects will be posted soon, including the first, second, and third place winners.
