Peer Editing Research Papers

Now that the seventh and eighth graders had their research paper rough drafts completed, it was time to work on corrections for their second rough drafts.  Each student made his own corrections, and then we spent some time in class working on peer editing.  They read their papers out loud to another student, and that student made suggestions or corrections.  It is a great way for them to hear what their writing sounds like, and it is a great way for them to give each other feedback.
