The Ghost of Christmas Past Participle

My students are amazing.  Sometimes, they've got so much history and English in their heads that they get a few concepts mixed up, or combined, or something like that.  So, here, I will share some of the novel concepts they have invented (accidentally), and shared with me in class or on tests.

1.  That large body of water in Northwestern Canada is named
Hudson Taylor Bay.

2.  Three cases of pronouns are nominative, obsessive, and possessive.

3. This one was even more funny because when this answer was spoken aloud (much to the amusement of the class), we had just finished our grammar review of verb tenses.
The second spirit to visit Scrooge was the Ghost of Christmas Past Participle.

4.  A substance which prevents infection is called an antiperspirant.
