School in the Twenty-first Century, Coronavirus Style

This is what my classroom looked like this morning.  And when I left, it had fifteen folders on fifteen desks, all ready for the students to pick up their assignments for the week.  We are following our governor's request: no school for the next two weeks.

And then this afternoon, the governor ordered a statewide closure of all non-essential businesses for two weeks.  That starts at midnight tonight.  So, we're all stocked up on groceries, and other than planning my schoolwork for the rest of the year, cleaning out my disastrous school closet, and sewing a little bit, my attic awaits.
