One of the seniors is a pilot, and as we watched the landing on the screen, he described what was going on and how a plane is landed. When I asked how the guy flew the plane without his hands on the yoke, the student replied, "Because this is just a flight simulator." For the past five minutes, I had honestly thought I was watching a real video of a guy landing a plane.
And if one grew up in Liberia where one cannot just run down to the nearest store and grab a gallon of ice cream, one learns to make it by mixing the ingredients in a zip lock bag and then rolling it around inside a bag of ice. It works!
