When I was in Ontario a few years ago, I picked up some unusual and interesting cards. Recently I researched them and discovered the art of iris paper folding, named for the iris on a camera lens. The Abiding Peace Virtual Christian School three dimensional art class students made the triangle designs in class using a pattern I found free online. The assignment was to design an original pattern and to make an iris paper fold using it.
