I was up after midnight the other night grading some pretty good essays. (I am determined to get all of my students' papers back to them the next school day.) A few more papers filtered in today, and as much as I enjoy reading my students' writing, grading over eighty writing assignments is a lot of work. One of the juniors stopped by at lunch and handed me a Ghirardelli chocolate bar (WITH CARAMEL!), and a few minutes later, one of the seniors gave me this delicious chocolate mocha truffle that she had learned how to make in her advanced home economics class. The paper grading progressed much more smoothly after I had received these.
