Egg Cases, a Dove's Wing, and Fossilized Sharks' Teeth

This week's science collection --

We are studying fish and just finished our study of birds.  One of my students brought in this gorgeous bird's nest, and while we were looking for a lost tennis ball, we found the remains of a dove, including this perfect wing.

The mermaid's purses (ray egg sacs) were found on last year's beach field trip, and the fossilized shark's teeth are from my Florida beach collection.

We got this several years ago at Ken's Educational Joys.  The operculum has been removed on one side so that you can see the gills inside.  And below is a shark from an antique science specimen collection.  This was a weird birthday present I got for Jeff several years back.
