Mascot Roller Mill, Hayloft Ice Cream, and Brady's Village Art Gallery and Rock Shop

The Mascot Roller Mill in Ronks was a fabulous place for our last field trip.  The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and it was like a double history lesson as we got a tour of the mill and the homestead.  They even cranked up the mill and ground some corn for us, and the history of the mill and Ressler family is intriguing.

Our traditional second stop is Hayloft Ice Cream, where feeding the fish is almost as exciting as the soft serve flavor of the month.

Last, we paid a visit to Brady's Village Art Gallery and Rock Shop in Morgantown, which has everything from gems, fossils, and dinosaur bones, to paintings and mobiles hanging everywhere including on the ceiling.  It was an absolutely mesmerizing place to be, and Brady was friendly as several of our students purchased rocks and fossils.

The following week, we finished our final tests, had a picnic and concert at the park, and said our farewells for the summer.
