The First Week of School 2021

Our science book activity was to go exploring and start a classroom museum.  We went on a specimen collection walk and discovered and identified three kinds of birds, two kinds of butterflies, and fifteen kinds of flowers.  

Samuel's obedience was discussed in our Bible class, and the book had a picture of Samuel holding a little oil lamp.  I had picked up a similar one during one of my thrift shop hunts, so we got it out, put about two tablespoons of oil and a wick in it, and watched it burn for over two hours!  These things really work.  

And we decided to celebrate the completion of our first school week with some yummy popcorn. 

It was a good day!
